On May 29, 2025, the Rio Grande Valley officially welcomed Social Fest, a first-of-its-kind conference designed to unlock the power of social media for business growth, brand visibility, and community advancement across the region. Hosted on the 17th floor of Chase Tower in McAllen, this exclusive press conference marked the beginning of a movement to position South Texas as a leading player in the global social media economy.
